ahahhaha... tis post is suppose to be talkin bout last week ... ok lets c... okay kairen has got this fei yi ban guan y thingy goin on fer ONE WHOLE WEEK.. poor thing manx, its not tat bad lax. but to go thru a whole week of sermons, discusions n workshops w/o much breather ish really really tough .. somemore sooo alone... n hes only 15... soo GREAt jobs manx.. well e first nite we had to rush down takin 250... cos we were runnin vvv late... haha oops (hey due to v reasonable reasons ok...) hmmm we saw wenguang n justin lee dere haha weird combi.. oh wells e sermon was really realli nice n speaker Dr Cai Yuan Yun was sooooo farnie ........... e sermon was bout identity by grace, race n place... oo he did say things like how he's housed teens b4 n how he wanted to "sha diao" em (kill em) hahaha due to em bein naughty...n how he finally managed to find an ans to a frequently asked ques by parents... 'why did my child always lie to mi=( ?'.. he said they lied becos dey didnt wan ta hurt u wif e truth. wells indeed... den aft tat went for supper haha we all crapped a lot but we managed to learnt many things thru each other's crap manx... hahaha chimx.. oh i had my sooper lovely indian rojak mans!!!=)) thanks WG again fer treatin us drinks=))) ok nxt, e second nitex i got band soo... skip~~=((( ok on wed we got tis usher thingy... so many more ppl haf ta go such as siyang, justin liang, sophia, si yuan,hannah, doreen, zien, qiying, mi n my sis of course. haha some of us went to bukit timah plaza first to play pool, n buy dinner. den aft tat we all had ta chiong down to SBC fer our ushering jobs... ermx... but dere i was xcused fr it due to my bad... hur apologies to preacher lui again.. okay...if im not wrong, e sermon was bout e difficulties u face in life, ur career n families as a christian... yeps yeps.. oo den dere's tis real farnie part when he spoke of how churches shud "he yi"( unite) instead of havin too much disputes bax... hahaha he said nowadays churches got sooo many n dey have sooo many things to quarrel bout... haha such as e holy communion, like e sizes of e biscuits... some wan HUGE biscuits, some wan tiny ones, some asked if bread is acceptable... den comes e holy grail... shud e cups be BIG r small? how much wine shud be poured? some even use e same cup thruout... ermx u noe like everyone sharing one big cup of wine... sharin saliva... tats ermx..okay but i tink tat stopped durin sars period..=X, ok.. hahaha den e baptism aso got things fer ppl to "fight" bout...some say like wad u only sprinkle sprinkle on e head?... mine is better!! soak e whole body in water mans...den deres aso discussions on e topic of speaking in tongues... some say its rite others say its wrong.. but no one can really say hus true or not... n He said tat he aso dare not go prove hu is rite or wrong...becos seriousli, nobody noes.. n all these r small fry probs he said... ahaha n added tat e saints up dere in heaven r sooo gonna laugh at us for busy fightin over such tinsy weeny mini stuff (soo much tat their socks came off or till they're rollin bout e floor..) not his words of course but e meanin is dere yeps;)....ahahaha okay.. aft tat was GREAT supper.. yeah! i had one n half bowls of e sooper dooper nice ching teng... one bowls of ginko desserts woohooo!! sooper nice mans=))) haha den ran over to si yang, justin lee n my sis table to kop carrot cake n kway teow... yeah! den aft tat some of us stayed on fer more desserts ahahaha... diabetes is comin my way mans...oo den koped an attap seed fr justin lee well he only got 2 , soo guess its was considered quite nice of him...ooo kairen gave mi one fr his ice jelly too!! soo i managed to eat TWO !=))) ooo den thurs nitex was e last nite sermon... hmmm lets c.. well goin dere was onli mi, my sis, siyang n justin liang.... well woah its loads of stuff... soo cant type all but wad i remembered was bout him tellin us to be FULLY ALIVE... tat churches n christians shud always celebrate manx... kill e calfs or chickens or wadeva!!! celebrate fer redemption of our souls! celebrate fer renewal of our souls manx!! den he toked bout tis parable of e prodigal son fr e bible... of how e father celebrated n hugged n kissed hi really DIRTY n SMELLY son when he came home n repented to his father... he aso shared tat in hong kong dey actually acted out tis parable n he was actin as e father... ermx not e son ya... ahahaha, n durin e scene where he hugged his "son", he cried n everyone who was there cried too... n he said in e audience dere were boys hu got into trouble wif e laws, either fr homes or jails n at tis scene they cried too n cheered loudly... it really goes to show tat dey need love, patience n acceptance fr their family once again.. and e farnie part was tat since he was too into act, he became too excited n shouted to kill e chickens(culture of hong kongers??!) to celebrate instead of e original one, kill e fatttest calf...ahahahahaha=D den he aso toked bout us bein FULLY AWARE of our identity, spirituality, ethnicity, sexuality n nationality. bout FULLY ACTUALIZATION of our vocation, e first comission in genesis to adam n eve to have family, take care of nxt generation, to be good guardians of nature n earth and e great commision of spreading gospel to every part of e world aft JESUS died on e cross fer our sins... he aso spoke of COMMUNITY of how we shud be fully connected, with THE FATHER, wif e HOLY SPIRIT n wif JESUS CHRIST=)) n e community of e cross... nxt is an interestin part where he told us bout washing each others feet. he said tat e feet ish e human body's most disgusting n smelly part where most feel v uncomfortable to show others n wud prefer to conceal em up... to let others wash ur feet ish even more pai seh n yar... he said tat by washin each others feet we can confess our sins to each other n while doin so be willin to forgive each other n pray fer each other... =))) cool huh.. jus like in John 13, where no one was willin to wash others' feet, Jesus stood up n knelt in front of each of His disciples n cleaned every one of their feets. He had demonstrated e act of servant leadership where e leader serves others wif love instead of thinkin tat Hes e greatest n sit back n wait for others to serve Him... we mus also rely on Christ n e Holy Spirit to do God's great works n to bears fruits of life n gospel.... we as christians mus aso stand firm n support n help each other, thru difficulties, to conquer e world or to seek e truth... becos this glorifies The Lord=))) last but not least, he told us bout missons n works to be done for God , to be prepared, to be spritual leaders (pastors), or to be missionaries overseas in work... and at e end of it, while he prayed fer us, he asked us 3 of 4 ques, bout hus willin to consider goin into full time ministry in church if God calls, hus willin to go into full time ministry in church now(know u haf e callin ), hus willin to participate in youth ministry or have e fu dan to do so, n lastly hu r willin to be overseas missionaries or God's messenger at work... wells... justin liang, kairen n mi said yes to e first ques n those hu ans any of e ques were asked to step up to front of e stage, where e pastors n speakers n e rest will pray for us... well at first it was really embarrassin to stand in front of sooo many ppl, mans soo paiseh laa but the speaker told us not to be afraid or shy n to make this decision secretly in our hearts. he told us to tell our close frens, dao shis or pastors bout tis so tat they may know of our great decisions n keep us in their prayers tat we can tread on this path w/o lookin bk, even if u're jus considerin....=)))) soo wells tats another few rounds of prayers n off we went tooo... SUPPER!!!!! yesh!! yeah tis time i ate kway teow, fried carrot cake n a glass of "special"?? haha donno wads tat but some mixture of fruit juices recommended by e auntie... n not to forget, my INDIAN ROJAKS!!!!! WOOHOOO!!! yeah rox manx...=))) hahahaa cos no one wanted sooo i sorta... wellss=))))) heheheheh.... ok... tats e end of all... wells sorry for missin out graet many details n i seriousli hope tat i didnt say till it wasnt too far off fr Dr Cai Yuan Yun's message cos he spoke mostly in chi n my memories not vvv good... hahaha chaos~~ =)) |
